In the book of Judges, we see a repeated cycle, one that we can call 'The cycle of sin' - a cycle of sin, bondage, repentance, devotion, followed by sin and bondage again. Israel would follow the Lord when there was a leader who reminded them of the ways in which they should walk, but with his death they again wandered off following other gods and their own desires. God would then allow an enemy of Israel to conquer the people so that, through desperation (unfortunately) they would again look to Him.
The cycle of sin is unfortunately evident in many Christian lives today. Maybe it is one enemy, or one particular area of weakness that consistently drags you down into bondage. This study presents you with ways through which you can break away from the cycle of sin.

It is this future ‘day of the Lord’ that Joel goes on to describe in detail
Read about the personal, practical and prophetic aspects of the Book of Joel and be blessed.

It will be a day in which righteousness rules, for the King of Righteousness will return to reclaim His kingdom! Habakkuk saw it all and recorded it for us.
The book of Ruth is an interesting book. It is an amazing story of commitment and dedication, trials and testing, deliverance and freedom. Everything is embedded in it – well, apart from a nasty villain but we cannot ask for everything. Yet like other historical books in the Old Testament, I believe that the Holy Spirit has placed this book within the Bible for more than historical benefit. He has placed within the characters and story line, key elements and pictures that teach us today about our relationship with the true Redeemer, Jesus Christ.
